Montenegro: Where Mountains Meet the Sea
Montenegro: Where Mountains Meet the Sea
Some places surprise you. Montenegro was one of them.
I didn't know what to expect — but the moment I saw the coastline framed by dramatic mountains, I knew this place was special.
A Hidden Gem in the Balkans
Montenegro feels like a secret that Europe hasn't fully discovered yet. The old towns are charming, the nature is raw and beautiful, and the pace of life is exactly what you need when you want to slow down.
The water was so clear you could see the bottom even from the cliffs above. It felt unreal.
What I Loved Most
- The dramatic contrast between mountains and sea
- The warmth of the people
- How affordable everything was compared to Western Europe
- The food — fresh, simple, and delicious
The QA Perspective
There's something about traveling to less-touristy places that reminds me of exploratory testing. You don't have a script. You don't know exactly what you'll find. You just go, observe, and let the experience guide you.
Montenegro was my best exploratory test of the year.
